Since I have PHP v5.6 installed, I decided to use the php56-pecl-imagick package via sudo yum install -y php56-pecl-imagick. and a list of available packages came up. I know I could search yum packages by typing sudo yum search ImageMagick in my EC2 instances terminal, which is what I did. ![]() You may run into trouble if you try to edit images. Ok, all that said the "WP S3 Offload" plugin is showing an error/warning message that says, "Image Manipulation Library Missing - Looks like you don't have an image manipulation library installed on this server and configured with PHP. Sometimes you may need to also install some dependencies if they are missing on host system. The key to have your own arbitrary version of ImageMagick is to install it from source in your home directory. Sysadmin of a shared server may also be unwilling to install newest version from 3rd party repositories on a user request. if you install them in your home directory (using rpm2cpio and cpio) they will not run as the binaries have hardcoded system paths.
